Job Summary
Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology (Hematology) to drive access and adoption of hematology oncology medicines in Vancouver and surrounding areas. Lead strategic business sales planning, build and maintain relationships with hematology oncology customers, hospital and cancer centers, understand provincial oncology environments, stay current on product strategies, engage healthcare professionals in scientific discussions, collaborate cross-functionally to deliver patient-focused solutions, manage multiple priorities to meet timelines, and ensure compliance with internal policies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), strong oncology/Hematology background, travel readiness, and valid driver’s license. This field-based role emphasizes territory growth, stakeholder engagement, and delivering value of GSK medicines for patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent experience
- Significant hematology oncology experience (5+ years preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel domestically within Canada as required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with healthcare professionals and hospital/cancer centers
- Self-starter with strategic sales planning and territory management experience
