Job Summary
Lead a comprehensive Therapeutic Riding program, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. Manage recruitment, hiring, motivation, training, and evaluation of department personnel; recruit and maintain client base; oversee budgeting and purchasing to stay on budget; mentor instructors and oversee volunteer programs; maintain client records and evaluations; develop standards and procedures for lessons; oversee horse intake and care, including medical records and evaluating suitability; engage with Development for donor relations, sponsorships, and presentations; prepare departmental reports (budget, strategic, Board reports) and ensure policy compliance; require PATH certification and prior management experience; weekend availability for on-site operations; Rancho Santa Fe site.
Required Qualifications
- PATH certified instructor
- Two years work experience at a Therapeutic Riding facility required
- Two years management experience recommended
