Job Summary
Conduct structured one-on-one interventions with youth and families to ameliorate behavioral health conditions and support age-appropriate social functioning. Coach developmentally appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution while driving to the youth's home, community events, and service provider offices as needed. Supervise skill practices, engage in discussions about effective strategies for handling social situations, and utilize person-first, strength-based language to build confidence and functional progress. Identify unmet needs and leverage family culture to develop individualized support plans, ensuring the youth remains at home and prevents out-of-home placement. Participate in team meetings, attend bi-monthly individual and monthly group supervision sessions, and complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 5 to 12 years old
- Must have capacity to work flexible hours including evening/weekend availability based on the needs of the youth
