Job Summary

Provide individualized coaching and skills-based support to K–12 students in the STARS Program to reduce school refusal behaviors and promote consistent attendance. Facilitate structured group sessions and learning activities that foster social-emotional growth, coping strategies, and engagement while addressing anxiety and trauma. Maintain regular communication with students, families, and treatment team members to reinforce therapeutic goals and support continuity of care. Collaborate closely with therapists and stakeholders to ensure services are trauma-informed and aligned with individualized treatment plans. Implement early intervention strategies and support linkages to school and community resources that assist families in overcoming barriers to attendance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or health-related field, or proof of completion of thirty (30) hours, or the equivalent of college credit toward a bachelor's degree in a health-related field, or one (1) year of work experience in a supervised mental health setting
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent working knowledge and use of an Electronic Medical Records system (EMR) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communications skills
