Job Summary
Therapeutic Mentor sought for Benchmark Human Services' Georgia Community Action Treatment program (Region 1 and 2 near Cherokee County). Provide crisis follow-up within 24 hours of crisis disposition, conduct one-on-one sessions with youth and families addressing daily living, social skills, and appropriate communication techniques, and complete required documentation in line with state and federal regulations. Assist in assessments, treatment/care plans, safety planning, and crisis debriefing; help identify resources for transition of services and long-term recovery; participate in scheduled trainings and staff meetings; and support crisis response with average 60-minute in-person response. Remote work offered; duties emphasize health, safety, and respect for consumers, collaboration with CAT team, and adherence to program standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, experience with youth up to 21 with behavioral/mental health concerns, and a valid driver’s license; preferred candidates have two years’ related experience and knowledge of community resources.
