Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic journaling instruction and support students with serious emotional and behavioral challenges ages 6-21. Monitor student behavior, assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation, and implement behavior plans while recording data and incident reports. Collaborate with the Therapeutic Journaling Facilitator to prepare materials, oversee field trips, and develop classroom displays. Perform clerical tasks including attendance checks, file maintenance, and operating classroom technology. Attend mandatory training sessions for safety and behavior management. Work onsite with the Assistant Principal to ensure a safe learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years experience working with students in an educational setting
- Work with students who demonstrate serious emotional and behavioral challenges, ages 6-21
- First aid
- TCI
- CPR
- emergency procedures

- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations of our school and students
- Monitor student behavior and help maintain discipline in the classroom
