Job Summary
The Therapeutic Integration Instructor supports children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder by delivering structured therapeutic and recreational activities aligned to individualized goals. Responsibilities include implementing ISPs to address therapeutic, behavioral, and social goals; leading daily programs focused on social interaction, communication, emotional regulation, life skills, and recreation; facilitating group and one-on-one activities to promote engagement and skill development; modeling positive behavior and using evidence-based strategies to reinforce adaptive skills; collecting data and documenting participant progress; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (therapists, behavior specialists, families) to support holistic growth; ensuring safety, inclusion, and respect; and participating in ongoing staff training related to autism support, behavior management, and therapeutic interventions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children or youth with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to foster positive relationships with participants, families, and team members
- Ability to implement structured activities while maintaining flexibility to meet individual needs
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and meet all licensing and regulatory requirements
