Job Summary
Conduct daily therapeutic activities for youth ages 6 to 12, including arts and crafts, homework assistance, and offsite field trips. Build positive peer relationships and manage group behaviors while collaborating with families, schools, and community providers to develop individual treatment plans. Support students in developing social skills, coping strategies, and a sense of self within a safe therapeutic community. Work as part of a comprehensive treatment team to help clients set goals and function successfully at home and in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Maintains valid driver's license
- Must be able to transport youth
Desired Qualifications
- College Degrees in a related subject
- Experience working with latency age children
- Experience in behavior modification
- Bilingual (speak a second language fluently, other than English)
