Job Summary
Therapeutic Childcare Assistant in a part-time role supporting children in a therapeutic classroom environment. Responsibilities include direct care, supervision, and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere for children, applying the program’s philosophy, values, and RISE Framework in daily interactions with children, families, and team members, and assisting classroom staff with routines and activities. Emphasis on compassionate, dependable, and flexible support to help children feel seen, supported, and safe, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a non-profit community provider.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 17 years of age
- Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalence
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training or become certified within the first three months of hire
- Previous experience working with children
