Job Summary
Therapeutic Care Worker needed in Townsville, QLD for CASPA Services Ltd. Casual role supporting trauma-informed care for children, young people and families within Therapeutic Residential Care, including 24/7 roster with sleepovers and night shifts. Responsibilities include forming nurturing relationships, engaging children in purposeful activities to build life skills and self-worth, facilitating family involvement and visits, promoting positive peer relationships, supporting decision-making in activities, and responding empathically to trauma-related behaviours. Requires a Certificate IV or higher in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or related qualification, plus completion of Hope and Healing Framework Foundational Training prior to commencement. Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV Child, Youth, and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or other relevant Certificate IV, Diploma, Degree

- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks and a valid drivers licence are requirements for employment
- Working with Children checks will be required for frontline roles in direct contact with Young People
