Job Summary
Provide counseling and case management services to county-referred youth and families in community settings, including schools, hospitals, and homes. Support clients in connecting to natural supports and resources while delivering crisis intervention and mental health services as needed. Participate in treatment reviews, IEP meetings, and program staff meetings; complete documentation and assist with transportation for appointments and court hearings. Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques, including physical management when applicable, adhering to clinical best practices and attending weekly trainings and supervisions. Maintain a flexible work schedule with emergency on-call response. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, hybrid role with in-person service and remote documentation. Starting at $22.51 per hour with salary increases based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Associate degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience
- High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
- Applicable experience working with youth or families or working in the social services field
- At least 21 years of age
- TB test clearance
- Fingerprinting clearance
- State/federal licensing or certification requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Own vehicle
- Current auto insurance
- Clean driving record
- Insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
- Participate in providing emergency on-call response as scheduled
- Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques
- Training in additional crisis intervention modalities
- Demonstrate professional behavior at all times in accordance with Seneca's mission and philosophy
