Job Summary
Therapeutic Area Specialist responsible for promoting BMS portfolio within specified territory in Japan (Osaka region). Role emphasizes delivering scientific and clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, leveraging omni-channel tools to generate demand, manage accounts, organize speaker programs, and develop comprehensive territory plans. Key duties include promoting approved indications, conducting scientifically grounded discussions, maintaining high-level product and disease-area expertise, coordinating with medical affairs and field teams, using CE^3 and other tools to derive insights, planning visit schedules, and ensuring compliant, customer-centric engagement with healthcare stakeholders. Cultivates strong relationships with physicians, academic centers, and hospital networks while adhering to BMS standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires MR licensure, advanced scientific/healthcare background, and a proven track record in sales or MS L/medical affairs with a patient-centric approach and collaborative mindset. On-site field activities and cross-functional collaboration are essential components of success. Required Qualifications
- MR licensure
- 5+ years of pharma/biotech sales or medical affairs experience
- ability to convey clinical/scientific data persuasively
- strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills
- cross-functional collaboration experience
- account management experience, including new account development
- expertise in the therapeutic area(s) covered by BMS products
- ability to establish trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals
- high scientific literacy and ability to stay current with advancing therapies
- proactive selling and promotional skills for product portfolio
