Job Summary
Serve as primary point of contact for customers in the respiratory and immunology therapeutic areas, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities for ecosystem strategies. Lead end-to-end experiences for assigned accounts, driving clinical and non-clinical decision-making at the point of care while providing education on product information and reimbursement resources. Proactively develop solutions for complex accounts across academic and delivery networks, optimizing business within the Michigan ecosystem to support national strategy. This field-based role covers Eastern and Central Michigan, requiring significant driving and occasional overnight travel. Candidates must reside in the Detroit area, and the position offers a salary range of $137,500 to $255,300 plus incentive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Business, scientific or clinical degree
- Bachelor's degree level
- Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology) or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g., payers, health systems)
- 6 or more years of experience working in a sales role with HCPs
- Representing multiple products
- Working across a complex healthcare system environment
- Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and mentor peers or others to help them meet and exceed their goals, targets, and responsibilities
- Reside in the Eastern Michigan/Detroit area
- Candidates are expected to live in the ecosystem for consideration
- Overnight travel
- Significant driving of either a company provided or personal vehicle
- Prolonged periods of sitting
