Job Summary
Lead end-to-end customer experiences for assigned accounts in the South TX ophthalmology ecosystem, serving as the primary point of contact to address practitioner needs and identify strategic opportunities. Drive on-label clinical demand by providing education on clinical, non-clinical, and reimbursement topics, while proactively developing solutions for complex accounts across academic and delivery networks. Collect local insights and trends to support national strategy, ensuring ethical product representation and appropriate patient access through triage to experts when needed. This field-based role covers San Antonio, Austin, College Station, Waco, and Temple, requiring significant driving and overnight travel. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in HCP sales and demonstrate the ability to coach peers.
Required Qualifications
- Business, scientific or clinical degree
- Bachelor's degree level
- Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology) or related industry
- Experience engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g., payers, health systems)
- 6 or more years of experience working in a sales role with HCPs
- Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and mentor peers or others to help them meet and exceed their goals, targets, and responsibilities
- This is a field based role
- Candidates are expected to live in one of those areas for consideration
- Overnight travel may be required
- This position requires significant driving of either a company provided or personal vehicle
- Prolonged periods of sitting
