Job Summary

Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare practitioners in the immunology therapeutic area, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities for ecosystem strategies at the point-of-care. Lead end-to-end experiences for assigned accounts by driving clinical and non-clinical decision-making, providing education on product information, appropriate use, and reimbursement resources. Proactively develop solutions for complex accounts within academic, delivery, and therapeutic ecosystems while optimizing business within the NY Metro region. Collect insights and trends to support national strategy and represent Genentech products ethically using approved materials. This field-based role covers Queens, Long Island, and Brooklyn, requiring significant driving and potential overnight travel. Candidates must live in the territory, hold a Bachelor's degree, and bring 6+ years of sales experience in life sciences.

Required Qualifications

  • Business, scientific or clinical degree, Bachelor's degree level at minimum
  • Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology) or related industry engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g., payers, health systems)
  • 6 or more years of experience working in a sales role with HCPs
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and mentor peers or others to help them meet and exceed their goals, targets, and responsibilities
  • Candidates should live in Queens, Long Island and Brooklyn
  • Overnight travel may be required
  • This position requires significant driving of either a company provided or personal vehicle
  • Prolonged periods of sitting
