Job Summary
The Therapeutic Activities Assistant will engage members in activities, assist in meal preparation, maintain cleanliness, participate in outings, ensure safety, and complete necessary documentation. Candidates must have a high school diploma, customer service experience, and must be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
- Customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Knowledge of basic Office Equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook
- Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
Desired Qualifications
- Behavioral Health experience
- Experience in Healthcare setting.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License (if out of state hire, the record report from applicable state’s driver license department is required)
- Act 33 Clearance with renewal
