Job Summary
Deliver captivating theoretical knowledge sessions across key EASA/CAA ATPL(A) subjects, including aircraft performance, human factors, and navigation. Craft and refine high-quality course materials while tracking student progress with personalized feedback and mentorship. Lead assessments, exams, and remedial sessions with fairness, acting as a subject matter expert to ensure lesson consistency. Weave safety principles into every lesson to foster a proactive mindset among students. Maintain seamless records and attend administrative, standardisation, and instructor development meetings. Join open days, events, and collaborative meetings to support the academy community.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in a specific ATPL(A) subject
- Hands-on professional experience in relevant areas like flight operations, engineering, or navigation
- Completion of an ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge course or similar teaching certification
- Familiarity with ATO programs, including distance learning
- Knack for leveraging tech in education
- Technology savvy, confident in using tech-based teaching tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and enthusiastic outlook
- Excellent report writing and IT skills
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Word/Office/Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire others
