Job Summary
Welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow from arrival to departure while maintaining a warm, organized presence on the floor. Support the service team directly by handling plates, trays, and table allocation during busy services. Coordinate with Restaurant Management and the bar to address guest requests and maintain calm under pressure. This role is essential to Théodor Brasserie's goal of establishing a successful all-day dining destination in Berlin City West. You will help shape this young restaurant as it grows into a strong hospitality address in Charlottenburg.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as Host / Hostess, Receptionist or in a guest-facing restaurant role
- Confident and warm communication with guests, both in person and by phone
- Ability to manage bookings, walk-ins, waiting times and table allocation with structure and care
- Willingness and ability to support the service team on the floor, including carrying plates, trays and assisting with table flow
- Strong sense for guest flow, timing and the atmosphere of the room
- Calm, friendly and solution-oriented approach during busy services
- Professional appearance and natural confidence when welcoming guests
- Clear communication with Restaurant Management, service team and bar
- Ability to handle guest requests, changes and pressure with patience and discretion
- Good spoken German and English

- Restaurant experience
- Experience with reservation systems, ideally SevenRooms or a similar platform
- Further languages
- A genuine passion for hospitality and the rhythm of a busy restaurant
