Theatre Practitioner - Scrub (Bank)

Theatre Practitioner needed to join the Theatre department across Anaesthetics, Recovery, Orthopaedic Scrub, General Scrub and SFA on a bank, as-needed basis. Responsibilities include preparing instruments, maintaining sterility, assisting with anaesthetics equipment, monitoring patients, managing pain and nausea, preparing theatres for surgery, checking equipment, reporting faults, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe surgical lists. Requires adherence to infection control, manual handling, and patient safety principles; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changes. Salary up to £25 per hour, flexible hours to supplement staffing levels.
