Job Summary
Manage day-to-day theatre operations including labour cost, cost of sales, revenue control, and guest satisfaction while overseeing facilities management, supplies, repairs, and maintenance. Collaborate with the management team to execute budget ownership, set targets, and drive efficiencies across security, cleaning contracts, utilities, and projection equipment. Provide consistent performance feedback to all staff levels, ensure safe work practices are followed, and address potential issues promptly. Own accountability for budgets and results while maintaining exceptional guest experiences through visible engagement and training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related industry (Guest service/retail environment)
- Proven track record in people management and overseeing building facility maintenance programs, with the ability to manage supplies, services, repairs and maintenance
- Passionate in delivering quality products and services in a Guest-service environment with significant attention-to-detail
- Ownership and accountability of budgets, targets, and results and are comfortable in providing and presenting recommendations and/or advice in areas of expertise
- Ability to set actionable goals, take initiative to deliver, show persistence in problem-solving while keeping others focused on results
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment, and are engaged in finding solutions and efficiencies
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a post-secondary school program with a focus on business acumen, hospitality, entertainment, and food service management is considered to be an asset
- Prior experience with projection or audio-visual equipment is an asset
