The Wellbeing Consultant (Psychologist)

Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide confidential counseling to individuals or groups, in person or remotely as required. Deliver psychosocial first aid training, facilitate debriefing prior to or post missions in conflict countries, and serve as the first point of call for crisis response initiatives. Collaborate with HR and senior management to ensure holistic support, while building resilience through psychosocial education, stress management strategies, and awareness campaigns. Identify and refer individuals needing specialist mental health care. This role supports staff and beneficiaries across 18 countries within a framework agreement, offering flexible remote or in-person work with potential travel to Kyiv.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or relevant fields
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in providing therapy and mental health and psychosocial support or counseling in an International NGO is preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in volatile or conflict-affected environments, responding to gender-sensitive, humanitarian, development, or community-based contexts
- Training in Psychological First Aid (PFA), trauma-informed care, or stress management is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
- Strong facilitation skills to customise and tailor interventions to the needs of different individuals and groups
- Awareness and respect for cultural differences and the ability to incorporate these into therapy sessions
