Job Summary
The Visual Arts Pathways Coordinator leads Sapulpa High School's four-year visual arts pathway by refining curriculum, coordinating program activities, and building partnerships with local businesses, colleges, and universities to provide internships, job-shadowing, and dual enrollment opportunities. The role oversees planning of career fairs, guest speakers, field trips, and industry visits; collaborates with teachers to integrate career exploration into the curriculum; manages open houses, 8th-grade visitation, and student leadership development; and ensures path content aligns with industry and university standards while maintaining program records and compliance. The position requires strong managerial and interpersonal skills, experience coordinating teams, and a proactive approach to staying current with labor market trends and post-secondary education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related arts industry field, education, or similar experience
- Strong time management, organizational, and administrative skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common academic journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or boards of education
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
