Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsible for coaching and developing staff to exceed store productivity goals and delivering a best-in-class customer experience aligned with The North Face brand values. Partners with the Store Manager to supervise floor coverage, train staff in customer engagement and company programs, manage visual merchandising, loss prevention, and store operations. Supports achievement of financial and operational objectives, including expense control, store audits, and weekly reporting. Leads hiring processes, drives sales results, and fosters a development-focused, inclusive team culture while ensuring compliance with brand standards and corporate directives.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of store leadership experience
- Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results
- Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, software programs)
