Job Summary
We are seeking an Elementary Lead Teacher to join New School San Francisco, a public charter school serving TK–8. The role focuses on developing differentiated, inquiry-based curricula; creating yearly scope and sequence aligned to state/national standards; planning weekly/daily lessons; building integrated inquiry arcs; engaging all learners; maintaining ILPs; collaborating with families and SPED/ELL staff to support inclusive, anti-racist practices; using data to inform instruction; and fostering an inclusive, diverse school culture that centers equity and the success of Black and Brown students, English Learners, and students with IEPs. The position requires a valid teaching credential and at least two years of teaching experience, with compensation starting at $75,000 and up to $120,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid teaching credential (required)
- Two years of relevant elementary teaching experience
- Experience with diverse learners including Black and brown students, English Learners, and students with IEPs
- Familiarity with Special Education accommodations and modifications, IEP implementation, and inclusive practices
- Bilingual (preferred)
