Job Summary
Senior field-based leadership role leading disease strategy and field engagement for rare/ultra-rare mitochondrial diseases. Responsible for delivering in-person and virtual education to healthcare professionals, supporting clinicians with diagnostic pathways and patient identification, capturing insights to inform strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams for compliant field execution, and representing the disease area at congresses to build awareness and stakeholder relationships. Requires strong clinical acumen, strategic execution, and ability to travel frequently; advanced degree preferred. Hybrid work model with 40% time in the office in Cambridge, MA area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years biopharma or biotech experience, including at least 7 years in field-based healthcare provider engagement
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ultra rare/rare or complex disease areas involving multispecialty diagnostic pathways
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%
