Responsibilities include establishing and advancing the compliance posture, performing monitoring and analysis to strengthen the compliance framework, conducting compliance reviews of various business initiatives to ensure regulatory conformity and client-centric operations, planning and operating internal compliance awareness programs and trainings, coordinating with multiple departments, and deploying global/regional compliance frameworks in collaboration with regional teams. The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and adaptability to new regulations and technologies. The organization supports flexible work arrangements including partial remote work and on-site collaboration at the Tokyo headquarters; expected working hours are generally 9:00–17:00 with flexibility. Proficiencies in legal/compliance within the financial/insurance sectors, data analysis, and presentation abilities are preferred. Proficiency in Japanese (native) and business English is desirable. The position is located at the Shinjuku area Tokyo office, with hybrid working arrangements and periodic remote work, as part of a growing compliance team contributing to enterprise-wide governance and risk management.
