Job Summary
Remote freelance translators/post-editors needed for English (US) to Karen (KAR) with focus on HR and Healthcare (US market). Requirements include a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree with translation training, or a degree in another field with two years of full-time translating experience, or five years of full-time translating experience. CAT tools experience (memoQ) and experience in post-editing machine translation are required. Responsibilities include evaluating post-edited material for quality factors such as fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence, and managing post-editing length and time, error type identification, and related quality assessments.
Required Qualifications
- degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education
- degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating
- equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating
- CAT tools experience (memoQ)
- Experience in Post-editing Machine Translation
