Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, manage airways, and oversee patient emergence and recovery in a collaborative GI center environment. Document evaluations accurately, obtain informed consent, and administer pre-anesthetic medications while adhering to American Association of Nurse Anesthetists standards and state regulations. Manage site scheduling, PTO coverage, and develop continuity of care standards. Respond to emergency situations utilizing advanced cardiac life support techniques and provide post-anesthesia follow-up for complications.
