Job Summary
Security Guard for CAMBA's Hart supportive housing in Brooklyn, NY. Maintain professional relationships and client confidentiality; patrol buildings and grounds; monitor security cameras; conduct security screenings of tenants and visitors; enforce fire safety, report incidents, and prepare logs and reports. Requires NYS Security Guard license, multiple training certificates (Pre-Assignment, On-the-Job, and Annual In-Service), fingerprint clearance, and at least one year of relevant experience. Bilingual in another language is preferred; mandated reporting and risk-management duties are included.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Security Guard license
- 8-hour Pre-Assignment security guard training course certificate
- 16-hour On-the-Job security guard training course certificate within 90 days of employment
- 8-Hour Annual In-Service Course each calendar year
- Must have and maintain NYS Security Guard license
- Must obtain NYS Security Guard registration and maintain registration during employment
- Must obtain Fire Guard certification and maintain it throughout employment
- One year of relevant experience
Additional Requirements
- Criminal History Checks (CHC) fingerprinting requirement for OMH and Justice Center clearance
- Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance
