Job Summary
The Den Supervisor supports the manager and leads the staff to deliver high-quality hospitality service, trains staff to maintain service standards, and assists in achieving guest satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, inventory and supply ordering, staff motivation, cost control, maintaining room setup and cleanliness, leading daily line-ups, forecasting and budgeting, supporting management decisions, executing in-house marketing and group recap reporting, acting as a liaison between management and staff, ensuring sanitation and safety, minimizing waste, complying with grooming standards, and being available for all posted hours. Requires management experience in a restaurant/bar environment, culinary/hospitality knowledge, beverage expertise, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years management experience in a service-minded, high-quality restaurant
- Minimum of two years management experience in a high-volume, service-minded bar
- Minimum of six months supervisor experience overseeing In-Room Dining
- College degree in hospitality with a food and beverage emphasis preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age with bartending skills or knowledge of beers, wines, liquors, and drinks
- Basic computer knowledge and POS
