The Data Domain Owner for Finance Data

Job Summary
Own end-to-end finance data processes from cradle to grave, including lead to order, invoice to cash, and record to report cycles. Define data roles and responsibilities with the CFO community and business partners while managing change requests and prioritizing requirements. Ensure finance data is consistently represented across systems in alignment with the Common Information Model, overseeing implementation and impact analyses. Measure and report on data quality compliance, analyze root causes for defects, and develop remediation plans with Finance sponsors. Create service artifacts, establish communication channels, and maintain a roadmap for data improvement initiatives. Collaborate with global, divisional, and local stakeholders including Operations, Legal, and People functions to drive adoption of new data processes.
Required Qualifications
- 15 + years of Finance Transformation / Finance Digital Transformation experience
- Good experience working through Finance processes and lifecycle data
- Familiarity with Coste Centre structures / General Ledgers, Treasury concepts etc.
- Experience with master data management, metadata governance, and enterprise data models
- Ability to translate business requirements into data definitions and model changes
- Experience with Finance platforms (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle ERP.) and data governance or MDM tooling
- Strong ability to investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements
- Strong experience working in complex technological environments and heterogeneous business set-ups
- Strong influencing skills to drive alignment across Finance and business stakeholders
- Comfortable liaising with divisional and country CFO as well as CIO
- Ability to facilitate governance discussions and communicate complex topics in simple terms
