Job Summary
Intern with Deallus China in Shanghai, supporting Associates and Consultants on a range of projects from research through to proposal writing. You will participate in primary and secondary research, transcript collection, marketing activity support, PPT/video design, and meeting minutes, contributing to client insights and outputs across the life sciences consultancy. The role emphasizes business acumen development, exposure to stages of pharmaceutical commercialization, and collaboration within a dynamic team. Requirements include being in the final 6 months of a postgraduate or Master’s program in bio-medical or life sciences, strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, strategic problem solving, quick learning, and a team-oriented mindset. Desirable experience includes pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical marketing or market research, and strategy consulting exposure. The internship runs for a minimum of 3 months with onsite work in Shanghai (3-5 days/week) and possible remote-working consideration; applications require the right to work in China. Interview process includes initial phone screening and a case study interview.
Required Qualifications
- Final 6 months of program in a postgraduate or Master’s degree in the bio-medical or life sciences
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Highly effective communicator, confident and assertive when necessary
- Interest in business and/or commercial acumen
- Strategic problem solving skills
- Quick learner and a strong sense of initiative
- Proven written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Driven, completer-finisher
- Strong team player
- Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical marketing or market research experience (Desirable)
