Job Summary
Leads and provides clinical and administrative oversight for South County Academy programs, with a focus on trauma-informed behavioral health care. Oversees multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient daily operations; guides development and continuous improvement of services; supports planning for new best-practice programming and partnerships; ensures compliance with quality standards and applicable laws; champions PQI initiatives; coordinates funding efforts; serves as a community liaison between Family Service and stakeholders; and collaborates with Development and Finance to secure and maintain funding. Requires Master’s degree in human services or equivalent, extensive supervisory and program-development experience, and demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments. Strong leadership, independent work capability, and proficiency with medical records software are essential; bilingual/multilingual skills are valued and compensated.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, etc.), Education or equivalent experience required
- extensive supervisory experience
- experience in program development
- experience delivering and overseeing trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments and practices
- ability to inspire a diverse team to deliver high-quality and innovative treatments and services
- ability to work independently at a high-level and cover for Chief of Child Welfare as needed
- skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
- Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
- flexible schedule with some evenings
- excellent multitasking and communication skills
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay
