Job Summary
Responsible for the overall delivery of psychiatric services to FSRI’s Home Division, including South County Academy and Residential Interventions. Provides culturally competent psychiatric evaluation, safety assessment, medication evaluation, and ongoing management; participates in an interdisciplinary team; ensures compliance with standards and regulations; coordinates and supervises medical practice of nursing staff; provides team/utilization management consultation, individual/group/family treatment, and staff training; leads to ensure therapeutic, appropriate clinical outcomes; works with FSRI medical team; remote and in-person work adhering to PHI requirements; serves across Providence and RI locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid license to practice in Rhode Island
- Current DEA Certificate & Number
- Board-certified or meet training requirements for Board eligibility in Child Psychiatry
- Experience with diverse populations
- Experience treating youth and adults with mental health/substance use disorders
- Proficiency with medical records software and office software
- Spanish speaking preferred and compensated
- Flexible schedule with some evenings
- Excellent multitasking and communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual/ASL skills compensated
- Multilingual skills compensated
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to clients' residences and community locations
- PHI-compliant remote and in-person work capability
