Job Summary
Behavioral Health Clinician in a school-based setting providing counseling using evidence-based practices. Conducts triage and diagnostic evaluations, links individuals and families to services, and shares responsibility for directing, coordinating, and managing care. Requires a Master’s degree in a human service field and licensure eligibility in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor; Spanish language ability preferred. Role involves travel to client sites and remote as well as in-person work in adherence to PHI requirements. Familiarity with care coordination, community resources, and providing compassionate, authentic, and empowering care to diverse populations is expected. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a human service related field
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
- Ability or preference for Spanish language support
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
- Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include stairs/elevators
- Ability to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements
