Scrub for the surgeon, assist the RN circulator, and manage all perioperative duties including setting up and breaking down cases, arranging instruments, and passing tools. Prepare cases for the next day, ensure proper supply counts, and verify medication strength and dosage. Clean and disinfect operating rooms between procedures, restock to par levels, and perform environmental service tasks. Anticipate surgeon needs, confirm patient positioning, and report any breaks in sterile technique. Operate sterilizers, lights, and suction machines as required.
