Job Summary
Bilingual Payroll Coordinator (English/Spanish)—fully remote role coordinating and processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees, reviewing timekeeping, deductions, and adjustments; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws; maintaining employee payroll records; serving as a point of contact for payroll inquiries in both English and Spanish; collaborating with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies; assisting with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes (W-2s); and supporting payroll process improvements. Requires 1–3 years of payroll/HR experience, strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll systems and compliance, ability to handle confidential information, and strong organizational/time-management skills. Preferred: experience in a remote environment, payroll certification (FPC/CPP), multi-state payroll, and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- 1–3 years of payroll, HR, or related administrative experience
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with payroll systems and timekeeping software
- Knowledge of basic payroll laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Payroll certification (e.g., FPC, CPP)
- Experience with multi-state payroll
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
