Job Summary
Bilingual Payroll Coordinator role, fully remote, responsible for coordinating payroll activities and processing for hourly and salaried employees, reviewing and verifying timekeeping records, pay rates, deductions, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, responding to payroll inquiries in English and Spanish, maintaining employee payroll records (new hires, terminations, changes), collaborating with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies, assisting with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes (e.g., W-2s), and supporting improvements to payroll processes and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- 1โ3 years of payroll, HR, or related administrative experience
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with payroll systems and timekeeping software
- Knowledge of basic payroll laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
