The Accounting Manager - GFSS

Job Summary
Oversee general accounting operations and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, ensure adherence to US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements, and manage statutory accounts and regulatory filings. Design and optimize accounting processes, drive automation and continuous improvement, and coach a accounting staff to ensure timely delivery. Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, coordinate with cross-functional partners (Finance, Operations, HR, Legal), and support accounts payable/receivable and treasury activities. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) are required; CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification preferred)
- Experience 3–5 years of relevant accounting or financial management experience
- Experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes
- Experience leading or supervising a team preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS a must; local statutory requirements as applicable
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) and advanced Excel skills preferred
