Job Summary
Senior Field Sales Representative to drive sales growth for TECO-Westinghouse by building relationships with OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end users across an assigned territory. Responsibilities include identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities; providing technical sales support and application guidance for motors, drives, and related equipment; conducting customer visits, presentations, plant tours, and product demonstrations; negotiating proposals, contracts, and commercial agreements; monitoring market trends and competitor activity; collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Service teams; and maintaining accurate forecasts, reports, and territory plans. Requires strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, mechanical/electrical aptitude, and travel within the territory. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with equivalent experience considered, and 3+ years of industrial or outside sales experience is desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of industrial, technical, or outside sales experience
- Experience with electric motors, drives, rotating equipment, automation, or other industrial products strongly preferred
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to understand technical specifications and applications
- Proven ability to manage a territory and consistently achieve sales objectives
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
