Job Summary
Commute to assigned medical centers to handle distribution, maintenance, and inventory of Airgas cylinders on customer site premises. Change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds, monitor deliveries, and collect empty cylinders to facilitate returns to production. Contribute to scheduled rounds to maintain par levels, consult customers regarding inventory needs, and adjust levels for seasonal demands. Place orders through the AirGas.com system, document usage via Google forms or sheets, and rotate non-specialty gases every 30 days. Respond to emergency situations to safeguard uninterrupted product supply and actively participate with the local safety department on proper handling and storage. Submit Good Catch incidents to support continuous safety culture improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid US Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Welding Technology or Sales
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management
- Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Tie workflow to schedule
- Comprehensive understanding of gas operating safety procedures
- Gas measurement, pressure regulation and over pressure protection installations
