Job Summary

Conduct daily rounds to monitor gas and chemical distribution equipment, perform minor inspections, and execute preventive maintenance to ensure 24/7 operational reliability. Facilitate safe bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers while recording system readings and managing container exchanges. Perform minor analytical sampling procedures and contribute to emergency response activities, including spill containment and hazardous waste handling. Uphold strict HS&E standards by wearing required PPE and following safety protocols during all tasks. Complete assigned duties according to established procedures while supporting local OJT and qualification training within the first 12 months.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years related work experience
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment
  • Self motivated to learn
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to understand and abide by stringent safety and quality rules
  • Aptitude for working an emergency/high stress situation
  • Aptitude for performing problem solving actions properly and safely
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)
  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field
  • Military technical/electronic rating
  • Nuclear field experience
