TGA Sports Coach - After-School Enrichment

Job Summary
Lead or support after-school sports programs for children ages 5–15 by teaching fundamental skills through fun, age-appropriate drills, games, and activities. Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment while encouraging confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and leadership. Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to coach. Follow TGA's curriculum, coaching standards, and safety procedures. Work Monday through Friday between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM, with a commitment to multiple afternoons per week. Earn up to $75 per class as a Lead Coach or up to $45 per class as a Station Coach. TGA provides the curriculum, equipment, and training.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ required for Lead Coach positions
- Solid understanding of the fundamentals of at least one: golf, tennis, or pickleball
- Passion for sports and working with children
- Energetic, positive, and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable managing and engaging a group of children
- Reliable transportation to program locations
- Able to successfully complete a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching, teaching, camp, mentoring, or youth-program experience is a plus
- College athletes, former high school athletes, teachers, educators, experienced coaches, and anyone with a genuine passion for these sports are encouraged to apply
