Job Summary
Textile Sales Associate responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing, tagging, and stocking donated textiles, maintaining a minimum rate of 80 pieces per hour, transporting items to the sales floor, processing donations promptly, organizing racks for efficient stocking, and daily recording of PPH. The role requires adherence to retail practices, comfortable interaction with the public, flexible availability, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and capability to operate light industrial equipment (tagging gun, pallet jack). Compensation progresses with performance levels (Starting at $11/hour with increases to $15-$17/hour as PPH targets are met). Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position is part-time and located in Michigan City, IN.
Required Qualifications

- Able to frequently bend, twist, push, pull, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, and lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to utilize light industrial equipment including tagging gun, pallet stacker, pallet jack, and compactor (18+ to operate)
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Tactful communication with the public and co-workers
