Job Summary
Sort, price, and tag donated textiles at a minimum rate of 80 pieces per hour while maintaining quality standards. Retrieve production sheets at shift start, transport carts for processing, and organize racks for efficient stocking. Dispose of trash into designated receptacles and adhere to standard retail dress codes. Transport items using light industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and compactors. This role supports the smooth operation of a fast-paced retail store, aiding in the movement of donations from drive-thru to the sales floor. Employees must be authorized to work in the United States and possess basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Required Qualifications
- Adherence to standard retail practices and dress code
- Familiarity with current clothing, shoe styles, furniture, toys, brand names, etc.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
- Tactful communication with the public and co-workers
- Flexibility to work varying schedules
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Flexible availability
- Able to frequently bend, twist, push, pull, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Able to utilize light industrial equipment including: Tagging gun, stickers, tags, standard office supplies
- Able to utilize light industrial equipment including: Pallet stacker, pallet jack
- Able to utilize light industrial equipment including: Compactor, must be 18 to operate
