Job Summary
TextCare Specialist serves as the entry point for telehealth encounters, triaging patients and coordinating care. Responsibilities include initiating patient intake, confirming identities, directing patients to providers, scheduling and follow-up, coordinating with TextCare providers, and safeguarding patient information. The role requires clear, compassionate communication across text, phone, video, and email; proficiency with basic technology and EMR systems; ability to multi-task and work independently within a team, and a minimum of 1+ years in a customer service or healthcare setting. Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday plus one additional shift) totaling 24 hours per week are required. Education: high school diploma or equivalent; CCMA strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of work experience, preferably in customer service or healthcare.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- CCMA (or similar clinical accreditation) strongly preferred.
