Job Summary
Conduct final quality checks on German news clippings before publication by correcting spelling mistakes in OCR-processed text and ensuring headlines, photos, captions, and other text zones are accurately represented. Verify that articles are complete and no subsequent pages are missing, then ensure clippings are adequately formatted in PDF and report any quality issues. Work from 9am to 13pm (GMT+8) with proficiency in written English and German (B2 CEFR). Complete an assessment test prior to the interview and a live assessment during the interview with a team member. Submit an informal cover letter in German describing your motivation.
Required Qualifications
- high proficiency in written English and German (B2 under the CEFR standard)
- ability to work from 9am to 13pm (GMT+8)
- good time management skills
- ability to quickly adapt to a proprietary publishing platform
- ability to effectively communicate technical issues to the team
- completion of one Assessment test before the Interview
- completion of one Assessment test live during the Interview with a member of our Team
- ability to write an informal cover letter in German
