Job Summary
Conduct regular meetings with adult learners to address academic, professional, and personal needs while providing on-site and virtual mental health support. Implement the Life Coach Model to guide learners in setting individual goals, accessing community resources for childcare and housing, and navigating blended learning environments. Act as a mentor and liaison between students and service providers, coordinating workshops and delivering post-graduation follow-up. Collaborate with instructional staff to align academic and workforce goals, monitor engagement, and escalate communication for students deviating from support plans. Document all interactions in a uniform, detailed manner and travel between campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field
- Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or educational support roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exhibits passion and excitement about working with students
- Empathetic and patient with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient computer skills and comfort with technology
- Ability to travel between campuses as needed
- Being authorized to work in the U.S.
