Job Summary
Technician I responsible for disassembly and routine maintenance of aircraft safety components such as evacuation slides and raft cylinder assemblies, reading and interpreting manuals and drawings, and using basic hand tools and an angle grinder as part of defined procedures. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and dust, and collaborate in a team to ensure accurate adherence to specifications and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Perform basic math functions
- Read, write and speak English to understand instructions and read customer manuals
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a team environment
