Job Summary
Lead Survey Project Manager / Project RPLS for a multi-year heavy civil construction project in Austin, TX. Oversee project management, invoicing, and coordination with the general contractor and subcontractors. Review survey work orders, schedule crews, document re-stake requests, and maintain both field and office survey procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables. Identify and recruit key personnel, as well as mentor and train survey staff to support their professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional licensed surveying experience
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the State of Texas
- Proficiency with Trimble Access and Trimble Business Center (TBC)
- Strong background in construction surveying and staking
- Knowledge of current surveying technologies, principles, and best practices
- Ability to mentor and lead staff within a collaborative environment
